He is known for providing thoughtful legal guidance and practical solutions to complex tax issues, earning a reputation among clients and peers as a dependable advocate who works diligently to achieve favorable outcomes.

Throughout his career, James has successfully represented taxpayers in matters involving IRS disputes, tax controversy, and tax compliance. His effective advocacy has helped clients save millions of dollars in tax liabilities, including one case in which he secured a reduction of more than $800,000 in assessed taxes. He is committed to protecting his clients’ interests while helping them confidently navigate the complexities of federal tax law.

His commitment to the legal profession extends beyond the classroom. In 2017, James had the unique opportunity to study landmark United States Supreme Court cases in a course taught by the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, an experience that further strengthened his appreciation for the law and its impact on taxpayers and society.
