ASSOCIATE TAX RESOLUTION SPECIALIST
PROFILE
Asad Rehman serves as an Associate Tax Resolution Specialist at Petry Advisory, where he assists individuals and businesses with tax compliance and resolution matters. His responsibilities include preparing and filing federal and state tax returns, as well as helping clients address complex tax issues involving back taxes, IRS audits, tax liens, levies, and other collection actions.
Asad earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown and is an Enrolled Agent (EA). As an Enrolled Agent, he has unlimited representation rights before the Internal Revenue Service, allowing him to advocate for taxpayers at all levels of the IRS.
Prior to joining Petry Advisory, Asad gained valuable experience working as an Office Clerk for the University of Houston-Downtown Veterans Affairs Office. He also volunteered as a VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) tax preparer, helping individuals and families prepare and file their tax returns.
Asad enjoys helping clients navigate complex tax challenges and develop practical solutions that reduce tax burdens and create peace of mind. He takes pride in guiding clients through difficult situations and helping them achieve positive outcomes.
Asad is a proud first-generation college graduate whose family immigrated from Pakistan. His background allows him to connect with clients from diverse communities and better understand the unique challenges they may face when dealing with tax and financial matters.
Outside of the office, Asad enjoys reading Japanese manga, following gaming content on YouTube, and staying current with developments in the PC and gaming industries.
